After 2 days, we finally made it to Portland. Checked into the Holiday Inn Express, just down the road from G&G Reynolds. Did I mention we’re staying for FREEEEEE!!!!! (credit card points are good for something)
I was sick. It rained A LOT. I was grumpy.
Jeff loved the rain. A LOT.
Kids enjoyed the rain. A LOT.
I did not like the rain AT ALL. I was grumpy. I was sick.
That pretty much sums up my trip to Portland.
Here’s everyone else’s experience on the same trip.
Sat with Grandma – she LOVED it!
played on Grandpa’s rolling walker
played dominos
Ammon chatted with both and got a fun ride with Grandma – she LOVED that too
Went Bird Watching in the lobby
Ate lunch in the dining area
Ammon slept while Grandpa ate – Grandpa and his Great-grandsons.
The kids loved to push Grandma – despite her efforts to get them to sit with her. Ammon was the only willing one to ride. The girls pushed her wheelchair
Lucas was right by Grandpa’s side – helping him along
Lea took pictures (the one with me in it and a few others – see? sick.)
Spent time at Aunt Debbie’s – I was curled up in a chair most of the time and the kids were sequestered away from the animals – sorry no pics. Got some cold meds and was feeling a TON better by the time we left.
Felt much better day two and was able to take decent pictures as it was our last day with them.
Grandpa gave me a blessing
Played puzzles in the lobby while Grandma, Ammon and I napped in the apartment
DAY 2 in Portland:
Until we meet again.
