Family is numero uno - no matter how we're related or where you live, we are family. And since my grandparents passed away when I was 8 and 16, I have a special place in my heart for Jeff's grandparents. Grandpa Risenmay and Grandma Reynolds have since passed away, but they were still living when we got married and we spent many wonderful moments with them. So off to Portland to visit with Grandpa Reynolds. We provide much needed entertainment for him. :)
Always fun to eat 'dinner' with Grandpa at noon....
silly girl.
ice cream is a must while we watch the birds
high-fives and a 'muckles' (knuckles) or a boxing match as it appears
Back to Grandpa's room where all the fun toys are: wheelchair, cane, and walker provide the kids with endless entertainment.
This is one of my favorite pictures - kids are riding around making lots of noise - Grandpa just chillin' in the chair enjoying the moment.
OREOS are a must - Grandpa always has cookies for the kids.
Time to say good-bye. We had to take Jeff to his aunt's house to fly back to Phoenix the next day and we needed to get on the road to Richland.
Okay maybe this one and the next one are my favorite. Tears of joy we came to visit and sadness that we're leaving.

Finished this post just in time for Grandpa's birthday in a couple weeks - we love you!
