Lucas had his first day of preschool - he was so excited!!! He'll only be going once a week until the end of the regular school year, but still so thrilled to be 'grown-up' like his sister. He asked me about 8 times in 20 minutes this morning if he was going to preschool. Yes, Lucas. Then he would run to tell Lea: Lea, I'm going to preschool. :)
We got to the Meadows home and as he was getting out of the car said "I'm gonna be a good boy." GREAT! :)
He had a wonderful time and was even more thrilled to have "homework" to show for it and a folder with stars and his name on it. Awww, the excitement of learning....isn't it contagiuos!?

1.10.10: Lucas - are we going to a new church today?
Me: Yes, the stake center.
L: Ahhhh-boo-yeah!........That's what boys do.
1.10.10: Jeff was watching the Cardinals game while the kids were in bed. Lucas opened his door 3 times: Dad, dad? Can you be quiet? I'm trying to sleep. (haha! busted!)
1.24.10: 9pm, Lea is "crying" in her room and Abbey is crying even louder. WHAT!? I mean, yes Lea, what do you need?
Lea: I smell the brownies and I really just want to try them.....(in the saddest, mopey voice ever used).....
Me: No, but you can have some tomorrow in your lunch. Now go to sleep and dream of brownie fudge sundaes. :)
1.27.10: Talking about dogs. Lucas: Mom, do you like Maizy? (beckers' dog)
Me: Umm, she's alright. I just don't like it when she jumps on me and gets my clothes dirty.
Lucas: hysterical laughter...that's so funny! :) (ok.....)
2.18.10: Lucas: Abbey, how many times hab (have) I toad (told) you? Abbeyyyyy.......I'n berry mad.....(she was throwing food at him across the table....hehe)
3.1.10: Lucas in the middle of telling a story about a monster coming and fire....."Now where was I? Oh yeah, a monster and pire......."
3.10.10:After being tucked into bed. "Boo-yah Dad, boo-yah." Points to Lea in the doorway: "Girl's say 'yah'".
