Summer time

Activity Day girls put on a party for the mom's. Originally for Mother's day, but of course there was a monsoon that busted through and delayed the party a couple weeks. Totally worth the wait - got my nails painted and we had a delicious dinner served to us. The girls made placemats for her mom.

Sister Faucett, Kadyn, Gabby, Laura, Lea, Natasha, Charity, Melissa, Sister Hutchison, Annika

They even performed a song for us - love these girls and the leaders!

There's always swimming to be done and always more fun with great friends!
 Lucas, Ammon, Emi, Abbey
 Brendan, Emi, Drew, Abbey
Lea - one thing about these slides - they're quick!
Love the Hoyts - Caleb, Barbara, Stacy
We love the summer as long as there is water fun and friends to be around!

 Lucas: Kinder Graduation!!!
 hi mom!
singing some cute song - it's hard to get close and still keep track of the other two kids..... :)
I thought it was cute these 2 girls had matching dresses - oh yeah the cute red-head too.
being recognized for Principal's List - good job Lucas!!
Lucas and his best bud Estavon!
Lucas and Mrs Brookshire - love her!

What a great year! Thanks Vista teachers, parents, and staff!

I'm a kid

Driving to church we pass a dairy (well driving anywhere we pass a dairy or two). Today Abbey says:
'I don't want to go with the cows. I'm a kid. So I can't be with the cows, I get to stay with you mommy.'

Haha!

Standing in the football/baseball aisle, my 6yr old pulls something off the shelf - 'Mom, kneepads. Like kneepads when you ride your bike. We need some of these so we can be safe.' Ummmmm, sure, when you're older and that's not exactly a 'kneepad'. (hahahaha!)

Me: Ammon are you tickling your own feet?? (He laughs hysterically and talks in complete gibberish on purpose). Lucas 'Yes - it's his culture! Everyone has a different culture and that's what they do in his culture.'

Lucas: 'Can we eat lunch with dad today?'
Me: No, dad's super busy today, another time.
Lucas: 'Can I eat lunch with him when I'm seven?' (sweet kid, since he just turned 6...)

These were in the last couple hours - this kid is hilarious!!

So long!

Thank you to my favorite nieces for coming to baby-sit and stay up late with us the night before!
For the best baby-sitters, we got them LA Dodger shirts and the kids new shirts.

Dropped the older 2 off at school, then headed to McD's playland for some fun before they needed to be at the airport.
wanna drink??

Let the good times roll!

Back on the home front while Jeff and I were off vacationing in sunny California, there was a big party going on. :)
AT HOME:
 Marissa and Mo
'Cheese'
Listening to music - somewhere our house ate Marissa's mp3 player.....
some puzzling had to be done
 more tunes,
 more tunes,
and even more tunes on the computer.
and of course some dancing to go with all the music!

AT SCHOOL:
Lea made Honor Roll after not making it the semester before - she worked really hard and we're so proud of her for picking up and making it back to the top!

AT THE POOL: thank you Hoyts! A cannon ball for daddy.

and AT THE CARNIVAL PARTY for Natalia!
Seriously the BEST face painting EVER.
A turn at the pinata: check out their form!
Mo was less interested in the Pinata. :) I see a future in the NBA.
Looks like he got a black eye, just the remnants of the face paint.
