Standing in the football/baseball aisle, my 6yr old pulls something off the shelf - 'Mom, kneepads. Like kneepads when you ride your bike. We need some of these so we can be safe.' Ummmmm, sure, when you're older and that's not exactly a 'kneepad'. (hahahaha!)
Me: Ammon are you tickling your own feet?? (He laughs hysterically and talks in complete gibberish on purpose). Lucas 'Yes - it's his culture! Everyone has a different culture and that's what they do in his culture.'
Lucas: 'Can we eat lunch with dad today?'
Me: No, dad's super busy today, another time.
Lucas: 'Can I eat lunch with him when I'm seven?' (sweet kid, since he just turned 6...)
