This was too good not to post: Jeff and Lucas went on a campout this weekend with our Stake for church. Just the men and they went to the Mogollon Rim outside Heber, AZ. After they'd been home a while, I told Lucas he needed to take a shower because he smelled like campfire and dirt. While in the shower, I hear him yell this:
"DAD! I'm taking a shower cuz I smell like camp-pire, dirt and spit!"
And because there is apparently no privacy in our house, we were all in the next room to which Jeff proudly says: "I couldn't be more proud of my boy. I didn't even have to teach him - he came up with it all on his own."
Why he smelled like spit.......I don't know and I don't want to know. :)

I am so glad that they had a good time. It is good for the boys to be with their daddy's, all for the many reasons of us no knowing exactly what went on. That is hilarious, and I love to hear a daddy proud of his boy. You are a great family! We love knowing you guys.
