Every year for the past 39 years, my brother has celebrated his birthday at the lake - with the few exceptions of 2 years we missed all together and when he wasn't able to make it (which probably wasn't very many). Ryan is one my favorite 4 older brothers. ;) (I only have 4) He's a good brother, dad, son, husband and uncle. He loves the kids and they love him. He's still a big kid anyway. His laugh is contagious and so is his smile. I thought he was a punk growing up but I love the guy anyway. :) He's 8 years older than me, so my 8 year old self saw a black/white world of the 16 year old him. He's a goof with a big heart, made some tough choices and dealt with the consequences, and is a better man because of all of it. I admire him and love that he is my big brother.
what a better way to spend the evening than playing baseball, bubbles and birthday treats!
something funny is about to go down....
I think Lucas was out. ;)
Dad's turn at bat.....see the ball?
see the ball? bat has already been swung. oh boy.
not sure where the ball is in this picture, but it looks like a hit (round it, look above the cabin roof to the right, right above the first tree branch.
cousins picture for Elder Hunt (Dallin!)
No birthday is complete without scotcheroos. Ryan becomes everyone's favorite uncle.
maybe not so favorite dad as he fends off Paige. :)
Love you Ryan!
