We headed for the California side of Tahoe - the 'sand' was similar, but smaller grains and not painful - nice.
The brothers were finally convinced to rent a kayak for an hour. Best idea yet.
Abbey and Steven went out for a ride and almost had a collision with that swimmer.
Mo again was content to stay on the blanket
I went with Eric and Kaibs. We had the following conversation:
'Eric, do you have your water merit badge?'
'Yes, I'm very careful when it comes to water. I never tipped over the boat at scout camp. Why?'
'Well just wondering if you had the same sense as Jeff - the 'let's see if we can tip this thing over and then try to flip it back over in the water' sense.'
'No, I don't - would he tip you over if you were in the boat together?'
'Um, yes without hesitation. I'm glad you're in the boat with me and not Jeff.' :)
The hole has been dug.
Next ones out and the camera is strapped onto Jase.
Lucas and Jeff - some good Father/Son bonding.
Good job girls - swim duckies, swim!
Beautiful scenery and candid close-ups
patiently waiting for another turn - the kayak was only still long enough to switch
whoa!
Lucas practicing his flying skills
still on the blanket mom - sand: the best babysitter I never had to pay.
Mandy's triumphant return - she didn't want to get wet.....so close.
After a long day at the lake, the kids were worn out, Lucas caught his ear on a nail on the couch and it was time for bed. Nothing better than sharing a video of 'Call me, maybe' with Dad.
What's next dad? Sleep.
good night little ones.
