Happy birthday Jeff!!

(on Nov 22.....)
We celebrated in Vegas the weekend before by going to the Air Show and a party with the parents.
We celebrated again on the actual day at home.

He's a silly kid that loves his dad.
They gave Jeff, 2 dutch ovens, which we've discovered that we have NO CLUE how to use and needs lots of practice. :)
 Birthday fun continues:

Sing it LOUD and extremely OFF-key.

 Mo does!
yeah, not a big fan of wrapping presents, plus it's fun to give such a manly man, a tinker bell bag. :)

It's always fun when Grandma comes....

My parents decided to make another trip in October. My nephew Tanner was turning 12 and my niece Shay was turning 4. My dad was turning......73!! They all share the same birthday. My mom had been REALLY, REALLY sick for quite some time and this was the first major thing she had done in several weeks. She slept a lot, but managed to spend a few hours at soccer games with us while my dad spent time at Tanner's football game in Cottonwood.
Still having fun with hair color for Halloween parties.
Lea studying for her talk..... :)
 Spent Sunday afternoon in Wickenburg.
Group hug!! Shay was sad - poked in the head by the branch or something like that.
Make up pictures because I missed these at Lea's baptism.
The task of getting all the kids and grandparents to look the same way. :) AZ cousins!!
Grandpa has a really cool phone. :)
One last hurrah before Grandma and Grandpa head to the airport and back home.

Soccer

Soccer: Lucas' team was all from our ward except for the coach and the coach's son. Luckily, Lucas knew Estavon from school - the coach did wonder how we all knew each when we only took 3 cars to practice to get 7 kids there.....Estavon's dad and grandfather helped coach the team and were so great!
 Lucas and Mason
Lucas and Reagan - some goals may have been scored from mid-field.....yeah we're that good! :)
 Great form!

Ummm, I think the Risenmays are the only ones who need sunscreen in November.
Lea's team......these 2 girls chatted...ALOT. I turned into that sideline parent, yelling at her kid to pay attention. May have learned that from my dad - I can always pick out his voice from the other yelling parents.
Ball? What ball? (Lea and Amy)
 Oh that ball!!!
Hoping this next season they learn positions so they don't have to run ALL OVER THE FIELD. But at least she's running and having a good time. This is a HUGE difference from the first time she ever played where I was dragging a screaming kid to games......
She does her own hair and uses at least 6 pony tail holders to keep all that hair in. :)
ew. just plain ew. you should see my sleeve.
 Last game, thanks Coach Anderson!!
I didn't get a team picture: Brisa, Amy, Zoie, Coach Anderson's twin sons, Connor, Jalyn and 2 other brothers I didn't know.

Just scored a goal!
Again no team picture: Mason, Estavon, Lucas, Reagan, Addi, Susie, Sammy and Kaylie
We love the Laveen Soccer League and are grateful our kids can be part of such a great program.
Some highlights from the year:
Lucas did not have to be in the age group to wear pink.
Lea enjoyed playing.
Lucas scored a goal in every game.
Lea's team actually won a game - first time EVER since she started playing. Not counting that first year when she was 4.
Jeff coached and almost got in a fight.
Grandma Sorensen came to watch one game - more pictures on that later.
Best end of the season pizza party EVER!!
